The use of role play, role reversal, movement, sand play, puppet play, art work, music, poetry, journaling, dream work, mask and sensory work benefits clients in a gestalt oriented, experiential and active way.
Mimi Savage PhD
I am a narrative-trained drama therapist who is person-centered in approach. I facilitate individuals, families, and groups in corporate or educational settings. We will work together to re-author problem saturated life narratives as you explore expressive arts in sessions as a means toward a more embodied, cognitive, actively creative experience for you. Restoring the whole person is the goal. My expertise has been on self-identity, foster care, adoption, inpatient psychiatric rehabilitation and multiculturalism. Recovery and discovery through drama and expressive therapies means using your intuitive, creative abilities to make changes while attaining insight and joy.
